Restock Info
Ceramics is a lengthy process, with each piece taking up to 6 weeks and being very weather dependent.
I aim to update the store every 6 weeks.
Restock times and date are emailed and announced on social media, sign up to my email list for the most up to date info.
Postage
All orders over $100 receive free shipping throughout Australia. Processing time is currently 5 business days.
At this point in time I am not shipping to the USA
Care Instructions
Every piece is handcrafted from durable cone 6 stoneware or porcelain, finished with food-safe glazes. They are microwave and dishwasher friendly, but for a longer life, handwashing is best. Just keep them out of the oven or freezer—sudden temperature swings can stress the clay and cause cracks.
Returns and Breakages
Under the Lotus manages all refunds and returns in accordance with the Australian Consumer Law and Fair Trading Act 1989 (Qld).
Unfortunately, we do not offer any refunds for change of mind. Each item is handmade, unique, and may differ from the product image provided, and as such all sales are final.
Handmade items often have minor ‘imperfections’ due to the process of making the item by hand, and the unique impacts that the kiln can have on clay and the glazes used to decorate. Handmade items have no guarantee of being identical to each other.
If you have any specific requirements, please consider contacting us directly to ensure we can offer advice on your options.
However, unfortunately no matter how much care is taken during packaging and shipping, damage can still occasionally happen. In case of breakages during shipping, we do offer the options of either a) full refund including postage or b) replacement of the damaged piece, with no additional postage fees. Please note, a replacement may be delayed if there are no identical items in stock, as it will need to be handmade.
Photo evidence of breakage and the condition of the packaging will be required; you do not need to return the damaged item.
To make a return for a damaged item, please contact us directly at under.the.lotus.art@gmail.com. Please ensure you include:
- Your order number
- The name on the order and the shipping address
- Photo evidence of breakage and the condition of the packaging.
We will endeavour to respond and provide any refunds or send replacement items within 10 business days. Refunds will be returned to your original method of payment. Replacement items may be delayed if there are no identical items in stock, as they will need to be made.
